The Pursuit of Tamsen Littlejohn by Lori Benton

This is the 2nd book by Lori Benton I have read and she is quickly becoming one of my favorite Christian historical fiction authors,not only because of her lyrical writing, but because of her attention to detail and the depth of information she gives about the times her characters are living in, her books truly are historical fiction at its best!
To escape an arranged marriage that she does not want, Tamsen Littlejohn gets the help of Jesse Bird to get away from civilization and go west beyond the Blue Ridge mountains. As Tamsen encounters chaos and terror in the wild frontier she begins to learn what it is God wants of her and what her future will hold.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys well written Christian fiction.
