Full bu Asheritah Ciuciu

This book is a wonderful resource for those of us who struggle with our weight and look at it as a purely physical issue as this book adds a spiritual spin to it. I want to start off by saying this is not a weight loss book with recipes and a regiment to follow. This book really focuses on instead of turning to food to fill our deepest longings.
I loved the scriptures and insights that the author shared and I also really appreciated how honest and open the author was, sharing how she is still struggling with many of the concepts and clearly pointing out that she doesn't have all of the answers.
This book was very thought provoking and I really enjoyed it.

The Underground Culinary Tour by Damian Mogavero

What an absolutely delightful book! This book looks into how data is changing the world of restaurants and it dives into a world I have never thought about! It is fascinating how the future of restaurants is changing and how there is software to track everything for restaurants helping ensure that they don't run out of anything and keep things moving smoothly. Having worked in a bakery I realize how valuable this would be!
This book was an interesting and insightful read that I thoroughly  enjoyed.

Eden: The Animals' Parable by Keith Korman

{MORE ABOUT EDEN}

Eden: The Animals’ Parable (Liberty Island, April 2016)
“Ask the animals, and they will teach you.” —Job 12:7
Experience the Gospels in a way that you never imagined.
In this beautifully inspired retelling of the Gospels, we see Jesus and his disciples in the Holy Land through the eyes of the animals—especially his intrepid and loyal dog, Eden.
With a wise, old donkey, innocent lambs, and legions of curious field mice—the animals follow their master’s journey across Galilee and onto Jerusalem, rapt with awe and wonder and bearing great tidings—even if they don’t fully comprehend the divine events they witness.
Simple, clear, and spiritually profound, Eden is for readers of all ages, this artful retelling is captivating, moving, and alive with the joy you felt the first time you opened the Bible.

My opinion: This book was delightfully refreshing and insightful, this book is a delightful little book for animal lovers looking at the life of Christ through the eyes of animals. The writing was very engaging and I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would, the story moved quickly, even as an adult and I can really imagine this appealing to younger children as it is told vivid detail. Killing us softly by Efrem Smith

This book is an outstanding book on Christian living, the title enough was enough to draw me in and it certainly did not disappoint. I loved how the author didn't mince words and was willing to draw on biblical truths and call readers to a deeper walk with the Lord.
I loved how the author talked of those who have walked closer to the Lord and died to the things of this world, both examples in the Bible and from contemporary people as well, it helped illustrate his points and drive the message home.

The 3rd book in the Worthington Destiny was probably my favorite although they have all been good and interesting in their own way. This book is about Sarah who is an ambitious lawyer who has become the US attorney general at a young age, in this thrilling end to the trilogy this book was fast pace and wonderful. Filled with political intrigue and fascinating dialogue this was a great series and I highly recommend it!

No fear by Tony Perkins

This  book was such an encouraging read filled with amazing real life stories about some pretty spectacular young people who have the courage to make a stand for the Lord. It is so easy to get caught up in all of the negative things that are going on in the world, but this book really focuses on some pretty amazing things going on and amazing young people who are taking courage and not settling for less.
