The Whisper of Bees by Carol Warburton

For lovers of historical fiction this book is a must!  It will not be lighthearted and at times it was a bit dry but I feel that the ending was satisfying and it was well worth the effort to read it. This book is tinged with sadness as you follow the lives of Arabelle and Alyce as life deals them a future far different from what they planned, I feel like the author did a great job at explaining and showing the superstitions of the time and how people fully embraced them.
The romance was sweet but was certainly not the main focus of this book and it was nice not having it be all about that.
Well written and very enjoyable, I highly recommend this book!

The Heiress of all things beautiful by Anita Stanfield

Talk about a hauntingly beautiful and yet very sad book! This book was able to turn me into one big mess of emotions with her writing and character development and I had such a hard putting it down.
I loved how vividly the author writes and how memorable her characters are, even the villain who is very awful indeed!
The romance was sweet and just perfect but I loved how this book had so much more than just a romance going on,so enjoyable!
I also loved the side characters and how she did something with them, I was hoping romance was in the air for Judy as well!
I received a copy of this book from Covenant Communications  in exchange for my honest opinion.
