My opinion: I did feel at a slight disadvantage as I had not read the prior book in this series, but that certainly did not mean I did not thoroughly enjoy this book. It had all the key elements to a good book, excellent characters, beautiful writing and an intriguing story line. I really enjoyed following the Madison family around the world was an exquisite adventure!
