Roar by Scottie Nell Hughes

I had never heard of Scottie Nell Hughes but I from the premise of the book I was eager to read the book and it did not disappoint! I found Ms. Hughes writing to be thoroughly engaging and real, she was totally down to earth and tackled some tough issues, but in such a way that tactful and fascinating.  I loved how Ms. Hughes did not go along with what mainstream society says but was willing to challenge the social norm which I found to be very refreshing.

I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
