Cloak of the Light by Chuck Black

I was so excited to get my copy of this book as it looked really good and intriguing, which is exactly what it was! I had not read any books by Chuck Black before, but I really enjoyed this one and look forward to trying out some of his other books in the future.

Drew Carter is a young man who is faced by heartbreak and tragedies, but he is hoping to leave that all behind when he goes to college, unfortunately tragedy seems to follow him as an explosion caused by a Physics experiment  leaves him blind and his friend Benjamin is missing.
As Drew sight starts to recover Drew realizes that he has a heightened neuron activity which help him see beyond what a normal man is able to see, but the result of this causes him to question his own sanity.
As Drew receive helps from Sydney a mysterious girl, they both try to find out what happens to Benjamin, but as things get darker will the truth ever come to light?

This book was an engaging interesting read and I highly recommend it!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion, all the views expressed are entirely my own.
