My opinion: I enjoyed how there was more going on in this book,I really enjoy it when books switch from the past to modern day. This book had engaging and interesting characters, some I liked and some I really didn't. Overall it was a pretty good read, a bit darker at times then I generally like, but it handled some heavier things quite well and made you think.
