Wedded to War by Jocelyn Green

Written with wonderfully rich detail this book is a Civil War lover like myself dream! Well written with a ton of research involved this book was utterly delightful. The author did a fabulous job of bringing the Civil War to life and making one feel like you are there. I love how this book deals with the medical aspect of the Civil War and enjoyed learning more about the medical procedures during that time. I also loved how this book was inspired by an actual Civil War nurse which made it all the more interesting.
Filled with historical detail, memorable characters and interesting dialogue this book is a wonderful addition to anyone's library
