Happy 2011!

Yet another thing in my life that has fallen behind. It is not like I do not waste enough time on the computer, I guess I am merely wasting that time, not doing anything interesting with it.

Christmas break is almost over, well really it is over but snow days have prevented me from going back to school, which I am not going to complain about a bit.:) Still not exactly sure what I am taking as some of the classes did not make but it is looking like I will probably be taking Psychology,Botany,English Life and Literature and Art Appreciation. I am not brave enough to take Algebra just yet but feel like Botany and Psychology will be a nice stretch for me.
I am still very happy I am taking college classes as it is always something I have wanted to do so it feels great to actually be doing it. I am hoping that 2011 will be a year of reaching goals, learning new things and meeting wonderful people.

One thing I am not looking forward to this year is the distinct possibility of  Chris getting a summer internship away from home. His field is specialized enough that as of yet I have not been able to find a internship close to home which means he might be away most of the summer for 8-10 weeks. I would not like that all but realize that a internship is a very good thing for him. So far the closest we found one was 3 hours away which means I could see him on weekends and it looks really interesting for him so if he gets it that would be good.

I am trying to read more classics and re-read some of my favorites.Right now I am attempting to read 'Anna Karenina' by Leo Tolstoy which I have attempted to read many a times before,we shall see if I actually get through it.

  1. So good to hear from you! I'm sure you will miss Chris if he does get the internship but God will work it all out :)
I want to read some of the classics too; I really want to be choosy about what I read this year.

Your classes sound exciting! Jaclynn is taking Accounting hopefully; not sure if she got in yet...
